    Wouldn't it of been easier to buy a 3 Gen regular cab lomgbox Cummins truck and shorten the frame and throw a short box on it if you wanted a regular cab shortbox Cummins powered truck.

    Yeah maybe. But when you get a free cummins and $1000 truck and have the skill to install it yourself for nothing why not. This total build is going to cost me 4-5k max. Buying a truck would like have been over 10k easy with a cummins.

    Had to pull the truck out of the barn to swap out a lift cylinder. This is the truck with full cummins engine and trans in the truck sitting on its own. Jounce and rebound is perfect no bouncing nice suspension. This is going to be fun. Now to wire it up and get a PCM.

    Radiator, transcooler, intercooler and ps cooler are all in and good to go. PCM and harness coming very soon will be running before we know it!

    Since I wont have Lockup with the 727 I am making the bypass step shut so the cooler gets full flow all the times by moving the spring to the back of the Valve. Also welded some fittings onto the trans cooler so I could connect my lines using AN -8

    This looks like it will be a beast of a truck and a fun project.
    Kris-2005 Rumblebee, Greene Tuned & Inertia Cam and heads, stalled, geared and other stuff to make it go chopidy chop chop when it starts

    Got a new to me grill and a slightly used bumper from a truck that fell of a trailer so the right side needs a little work but for now its way better than the crushed crap that was on there.
