    Default 545rfe stuff want gone!

    Sharadon stage three needs rebuild $500+shipping

    545rfe needs 4c clutches $150+shipping
    Empty 545rfe case and tote of parts $100+shipping

    45/545rfe billet edge torque converters $100+shipping each or $150+shipping for both 2700-3200 stall not sure which is which.
    Turbo Charged 392 front mount 1.73 60 11.60@113 so far!

    I also have 2 Sharadon stage 3 transmissions I need gone (shitadon).
    But about the edge converters, are they used or new? were they in the sharadon trans when they went bad?
    I need to get another coverter for my 05 Daytona ram for my built 396 stroker

    Sorry forgot that part they are both used one is likely full of clutch the other was used but changed before bad trans

    What happened to your Sharadon stage 3 trans? OD clutch pack? Did you have the torque management turned off in the tune?

    the 1st stage 3 burned up 3rd 4th and 5th gear clutches, along with a hydrolic pump failure. the 2nd stage 3 I have, I got from Randy cordell, its from his 426 stroker Daytona since he is running the 4l80 now. Denny told Randy that they went thru the trans and freshened it up and all was good to sell it. I bought it from Randy. I sent the vavlebody assembly to Jerry Williams to have him look it over. He found multiply issues with it, 1 they did no deburr any of the holes, 2 it was not flatsanded, 3 the solenoid pack was not good he ohmed it out and found it to be bad. So in talking with Jerry about the transmission he said his opinion would be to junk it and buy a junkyard trans then put in the vavle body he fixed

    Humm... I've only had the od clutch pack burn out on my 03. Think that's what happened to the first stage 3 you have.

    The problem I've found with the od clutch pack is it only has .118 clutch hub travel. The under drive has .185 hub travel. Sharadon and Jerry like to have extra clutch clearance for oil lubrication. So by the time the od clutch pack has worn in flat, it's already starting to slip and over heat the Red Eagle clutches. The max in spec oem clutch pack clearance is .073 for the od clutches. I've modded the stage III by adding a Smart Tech OD hub assembly(.128 hub travel). So far it's holding up to 14psi boost, 5752lbs full street trim on 22" SRT10 wheels, at 12.7@103mph. Though, I don't think it will fix the od problems but, I believe it will help make it last longer. There's also a new Sonnex Line Pressure Booster.
