I would love to see a 3rd gen rc w/ an 8 speed behind it. Would take a bunch of money & time if its even possible at all but man would that be cool.

So lets see...red truck was down to 2 gears and crackling and popping last time I drove it. It didnt like the attempted datalog so much apparently and I just put it in the corner again and am at a crossroads on what to do with it. Contemplating taking the turbo setup and caltracs/ssbc/15's off and putting it back on a "stock" tune and just running it with the motor swap. I have a bigger cam I could put in it (its a 6.1 advanced 6 degrees now) but I would need gears again and I went from 4.56 to 3.92 for the turbo setup. I dont know if the trans only having 2 gears is in the tuning or if its legit busted. Its got 1st and 2nd and reverse.

Magnum is a SRT8 with basics (Diablo, catback, shaker hood). I dont really plan on doing anything more with it performance wise. Last round of mods have been "utility" mods as I call them...hidden hitch, mud flaps, rear bumper pad. I ran a 13.5 with it on the 315/35/20 Motivos around 10.5" rear wheels. Doesnt hook for shit and those suckers arent light so I'm sure it would have alot more in it with a lightweight wheel setup...but its the daily and I dont need to be breaking another car right now.

Sold the grey truck to get the Magnum, and sold the Dart while I was laid off. Since Dart was gone, sold all associated parts with it including the stroker motor I had put together for it.

Me too as in a 5.7! If this 468 decides to blow I will build another very aggressive 5.7 stock bottom end and slap a big ass cam and stall and let her rip for some 11s NA

Dealing with the transmission shop that has had my 4l80 since Jan 9th. It was suppose to be a 2 week job which was to only machine the Reid bellhousing. Well i still haven’t got it and that is basically all I need. Once I get it I could have her running within a month if all goes as planned

Curious how much weight a roll cage would add. I know I’ll need it very soon! Looks good by the way

Iíll write this for some opinions.

I have a 2004 RCSB hemi, has pacesetter ltís an ory, 4.56s an lsd, comp 260, running off superchips, been like this for bout 4 yrs. About 3 yrs ago I made my only passes on it after putting a new trans an 3200 circle-d an it went 13.4@ 99.8 in a 80 degree day with only prep being slicks an no tailgate. About a week later leaving my parents house fucking trans broke an just put a junkyard 4.7 trans an converter in it an been riding it now for almost 3 yrs now.

During my cam swap we had snapped the crank bolt in the crank.... after Keith(charged392) saved my ass an spent prob 10 hrs drilling it out an tapping it we put another crank bolt in, so my dilemma is Iíve always thought the truck had more in it an Iím not chasing records, just goals that I had set. Which one was to run a 12.xx pass on motor, ive thought about doing a cam swap, another converter an get it tuned. But Iím sure that whole crank situation has me worried to pull that bolt back out. So not sure if itís worth to see what this thing can run with a 260 in it? I still think It could get a low 13 sec pass out of it

Really should have weighed before and after. By the time I thought about it, well it was to late.

It is all chromoly so it won't be as heavy as a mild steel roll bar.

Appreciate it, waiting on another set of Bogarts for the street going with Eliminators for the street setup.
