I think my rear end went out cause my tranny shifts good but when i let off the gas i hear this click click click click sound coming from the mid-rear of the trucks....its like sticking a piece of plastic in the rim of a moving bicycle rim or the wheel of fortune wheel when they spinn it:d
if it is where can i find a good price on a tru lock

Dunno what the problem is, but Moes had the best price on a DTT when I looked and bought mine.

Check your universal joints first...
USUALLY when a rear end is going it will cause a vibration first and then the noise comes. You could always drop your rear cover if you want to...

well when i removed my rear speed sensor there where some metal shaving on the sensor and i really dont think it was normal, and about a week ago the truck did vibrate a little to much but i figured it could've been my wheels and just need a re balance

u joints probably. If your rear end starts to go you would notice it when you launch hard or if you put it in reverse after going forward and give it a quick whack of the throttle you would hear the worst Scratching clunking sound. Rear end vibration is usually at very low speeds and goes away after a certain speed.

I had the same symptoms, turned out to be my wheel spacers starting to loosen up. Wouldn't vibrate under load, just when I let off. Also found a cracked cap on the rear universal, so check the lugs and joints out.

Block the front, put the rear on jack stands and have someone run it for you, easiest way to narrow it down is to get a closer look. I don't think it would be your rear end if it only happens when the brakes are applied. Check the pads and rotors for uneven wear.

it happens when i let off the gas not when i hit the brake

Ray just get under there and pull the caps, drop the driveshaft and check for tightness. It could be a bad rear ujoint or the ujoint at the tailshaft. You don't even need to remove the shaft, just drop it down and that will give you a idea of the condition of the tailshaft joint and use yoiur hand to check for binding on the yoke side joint. Might as well rule out the easy stuff, takes 5 minutes, oh and use a marker so you clock your driveshaft right.
