Removing Clutch Pack Retainer Clips...

Hey all,

Got a question for all of you, I have my spare axle with 4.56 gears going in the truck on wednesday and got to thinking about removing the CPRC's since they are from what i have heard only needed for assembly..Is this fine or should i not even attempt this and if anyone knows how that would be great too!

Curious, why go through the trouble of upgrading the gears without upgrading the LSD?

He picked up the whole axle with gears and LSD for CHEAP. Why the original owner didnt do that.. No clue. But I dont see any problems with the stock one holding up to his 4.7. Once he gets a supercharger then it may be time to upgrade (hint hint charles) lol

Well look at it this way, you can take them out now, or maybe your new gears will :)

I got the whole rear assembly for 350 with an lsd and 4.56 already installed just had to replace the outside seals and bearings

take off the rear cover and they are probably already on the magnet

Funny but they are not they are still in place...
