I haven't installed it. It actually looks real easy to hook up and program.
1 problem you could say is you need to come up with your own neutral saftey switch. The controller can do this, but you need to add a wire into the supplied harness to make it happen (they left the spare outputs out of this harness). I don't know if you read Harleyc's posts on using this, but the only reason the truck won't start with the trans unplugged is because of the neutral safety switch not providing a ground to the starter relay.

The real big issue is, if you were to use their supplied base tuning. Not only would you be dealing with 2nd prime downshifts, but you would also be dealing with 2nd prime upshifts. Their tuning doesn't use 2nd gearat all, only 2nd prime.

What I don't understand is how the Kore racing truck (this is the same tcu they are using), isn't toasting transmissions like crazy.

Iv'e got some things figured. I can actually add 2nd gear or remove 2nd prime if I want to.

Well,, I didn't see this thread.

For the rest reading this. KORE uses 1,2,2nd prime 3 gear. Those are their forward gears.
From everything I'm told. They shift up/down at WOT maintaining 4000-6000 rpm at all times. The truck is 7000+ lbs and has 530hp.
With a special EDGE non lock up converter.

It all points back to Dodge programing/ or the tuning result, trying to get around Dodge programing at fault for 90% of trans failures.
Superchips/Diablo/SCT/hand held of choice. All reduce TM to some degree. But the biggest problem to that is,, other trans functions should be adjusted because of it and there not.(shift timing)

The PCS controller allows the user to make his own changes to shift timing. That's a good/bad thing. (take your time and be careful) Clutch overlap will kill the trans and possibly put your head in the windshield.

Not yet anyways. I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard a rumor this might be a rare item now.
