Steering rack play

Is there an acceptable amount of "play" in the main rack? I was fabbing up mounts for my reservoirs and noticed a little less than 1/4" of play when I removed the boots for the inner tie rods. I took a video from my phone, but can't figure out how to upload it. Also, does someone make rebuild kits for these? I could only find seal kits.

go to media-convert.com and if your video is saved to your computer look at what type of file it is, put it in the blank and then choose what file type it is, then on the covert to choose .avi is what i always use.
