http://www.racelinewheels.com/s-9-wheel-specifications.aspx?ProductID=199
i just want something lighter...that i can pull up to the track on and run good times. my truck is going to be a street trim queen.

those look insanely awesome, too bad they dont fit

i may shoot raceline an email and see what they say...bc they make the chrome version of that rim in an 18x8.5 with a 5x5.5 bolt pattern...so i'm sure they can make the blacks ones the same.
they fit jeep wranglers as well...and dont jeeps have the same bolt pattern as us?
sldhemi
06-09-2010, 08:45 PM
no, jeeps have like 5x4.5 IIRC... its the same as all the old mopars

cant you get an off set and adapter...
jordan21210
06-09-2010, 08:50 PM
probably so...how much does that normally run?
i sent them an email so hopefully they respond quick.
like i said, they make the chrome/polished version of that rim in a 5 x 5.5 bolt patter, so i dont see why they couldnt do a 5 x 5.5 for the black ones.

they should be able to, just instead of chroming a set powdercoat them black... i dont see why it would be a problem
jordan21210
06-09-2010, 08:54 PM
yep, i wouldnt mind putting up an extra 100 or so for the extra hassle.
they only run about 135-150ish a wheel...not too bad IMO
now i just need to find out how much they weigh, hopefully no more than 25 pounds.

Those do look nice, hope you can work something out. Even worth sending the polished ones out for powdercoat.

okay, trying to get this back on track...the guy at raceline quoted me 1060 for all four rims powdercoated black....they are 18x8.5's and weigh 27lbs. each (one piece aluminums).
what do y'all think? should i still get 'em? they seem slightly heavy for an 18 to me, but then again the OEM offroad 17s weigh 24 and i believe a set of centerline 20's weighs aobut 24-26.

Not worth it imo.
Kinda narrow too

yeah, i was kind of thinking the same...i believe my stock 20's are 20x10
seems almost impossible to find a decent looking 5 spoke rim that is black and lightweight.

20s are 20x9...but imagine a narrower rim w/ a wider tire. Some people like the bulged look, but not me.

oh, well in that case...it's not toooo big a difference...i dont know...i've got plenty time to decide

if your trying to be lightweight i would hold off... they'll be considerably lighter than your 20s, but you may be able to find a lighter set you like. But if you like those wheels the most I say go for it, I wouldnt let 12lbs of total rotating mass be the deciding factor

yeah, those are really the ONLY set i've found so far that i actually like.
everything else is either chome or too gaudy.

those aren't bad, but it'd end up being cheaper for me to buy the other ones.
800 for those, plus 300 for powdercoat, plus 600-700 for new tires...puts me around 1700-1800

well i just researched budnik rims...i would assume they are light because they cost a fucking fortune brand new...those arrowhead rims run about 650 each brand new. so that's actually a good deal, just not crazy about the style.
the budnik cobalts are some badass looking rims.
