You weld?
You can DIY for like $15
And stock shackles w/ a flip kit will be a 6 inch drop

Find the right size shackle....or do a flip kit w/ overloads and spring clamps.
Just weld new axle perches on the bottom of the axle taking into consideration pinion angle and call it done. Perches should be like $6-10 ea, you just need two.
Your stock U bolts should fit, and you're good to go.

me do it right the first time no way
im a clueless butt pirate
im getting the caltracs mounting kit first for the main set up and doing that first
quicker for me to do that and get to the track
ill just do a drop in july when its smoking hot outside and no need to track it up

but you will need the caltracs setup you have now...
Are you buying the new brackets from calvert or are you trading them?

I have the longer shackles you need, i'm taking the lift out of my rig next week and I have 2" lift shackles. (you can raise the rear 1-2" depending on the holes you use) Let me know if you're interested.

You might need to eventually get shorter shocks or shock extensions.... and forgot about your bumpstops if you want a decent ride(I had about 1/4 to 1/2" clearance on my 4.5" drop).....on a seperate note-I tried shaving/trimming my factory bumpstops to run only at the track to reduce axle hop.....I had zero hop issues, but, the truck doesn't have any room to squat.....

the bumps stops u can buy for the front are likr 12 bucks at vato zone and u can trim them all the way down the front shoud come with the flip kit but if u do a 5in in thje back i would get a c notch for the frame cuz it will bang the shit out u
and yes i would recommend gettin drop shocks it prevents the banging a hell of alot..... mines only 4in in the rear and i want a notch

my hotchkis leafs came with bumpstops that are only about 1/2" tall as opposed to the factory ones that are about 3"... My 4" drop still has about 3" of clearance between the bumpstops
