just wanted to see some of the the CAI setups for some of the guys who are using the 6.1 intake in a ram. also what size 3.5" or 4" tubing. I'm looking for ideas of what I should change mine too. here is what I have so far...

to me...i would say if it clears the hood, i would stick with that.

did you end up using any spacers for the intake?

Maybe if you got an electric fan, and then deleted the shroud and relocated the coolant and washer fluid tanks, then just make a new straight intake out of some 4" pipe.

nope, I have the intake off now getting some more work done to it and was thinking about putting some phenolic spacers on but hadn't had luck finding any. Only started looking tonight though. I'm putting on my arrington 90 mm tb and its a pain in the a$$ with the adapter bracket!!!

You kinda read my mind. I have an electric fan just looking for the smaller billet tanks i've seen some guys use in the past so I can move the tank and remove the shroud. know where I can find those tanks at?

my local buddy RB (Mutt on DT) has this setup on his 392 w/ 6.1 intake, and he has the billet bottles too, I think he got them from moe's performance.

Here's what I did, it pipes down to my old vararam bumper scoop.

Can you take some pics of what was done to make the 90mm tb fit? I'm curious how much of a pain it is.

Glad i took my ac off, made CAI routing much easier and was able to use just one peice of my BFI for it.
