truck has been doing it alot lately, seems to do it more when its cold than warmed up. the CEl is the typical cat defiency crap. does it when coming to stops, i have to throw it in neutral because it will lunge forward.any ideas?

did it just start out of the blue? Could be in the tuning, could be a front o2 starting to go out, exhaust leak. Did anything change engine wise before it started ie tb install, etc

well its always seems to have something causing it lol ive fixed the exhaust completely and the 02 sensors seem to be good. Sean im borrowing a friends Diablo this week and gonna do some logs and send them to you. it def. seems like its gotten pretty bad since the TB instal, checked all the wires and sensors are all good

Wow!!! I thought my surge was bad when coming to a stop.It would also do the lung foward sometime's,like when pulling between 2 parked car's when parking.(this was no fun) Are you in the process of getting custom tuned? If you are then it's in the tune.Took my tuner a little while to get this under control.

Put your old throttlebody back on and see what happens.
I dont know if you have a aftermarket TB,but if you do,it will need a quick learn from the dealer sometimes.
But again I dont know what TB you are using.
Sure sounds like its looking for fuel.

damn..i thought mine was bad...lol

my rpms will drop a little like that but the truck normally catches itself and goes right back to 750...and doesnt surge repeatedly. i'm sure it's in the tune, just let sean play with the tune some...he got mine figured out pretty good

That's your problem. That cam need's tuning. The TB leaned out afr some too and probably intensified the problem.Do your dataloging and Hemifever will get it fixed for you.

When I talked to Fastman he told me a quicklearn was needed in some of his hemi throttlebodies.
he said most of the time they worked great, but not always.
Thats the only reason i didnt buy one.
I appreciate his honesty though.
I would for sure take it in for a quick learn, then get your tune figured out.

lmao, boy do i know the feeling...shits embarrassing when it breaks down in front of a bunch of people hahaha

i was backing into my condo parking spot yesterday...pulled into the cross the street neighbors spot, threw it in reverse, gave it a tiny tiny bit of gas backing up and it died...and there was 2 rather attractive looking girls tanning together at the pool (my condo is RIGHT next to the pool)...i was like "fffffff....this sucks...", so i started it again (had to give it a little gas so it revved to 3k-ish) threw it in reverse when the rpms were coming back down and it died again...all i could think is "fml, good thing i'm not single" hahaha

I know mine still needs some more tuning but mine will also surge.

I have found that if I reset my PCM it will stop and run fine so I know it is in my tuning.
