I asked before I looked like a lazy ass I just assumed blue to blue and brown to brown ha ha they are already done that way so I hope its right

hopefully so...especially since all the connector should have 1 wire that is the same color between them...and that is the ASD wire...the other color for each would be the trigger wire.


i didnt even look at the colors when i cut them to to send to you.

According to Art @ Henson; the Brown wire (on your harness) would go in the center slot and your color (blue) would go in the top slot. The bottom slot in the connector would remain open. This is as you would look at the connector in place. Let me know if that aint it 'cause I'm doin my conversion in a week or so -

Make sure you get it right....I wish I could tell you.....but I will tell you if it's wrong you will fry the coil drivers in the pcm.

if you don't have it, I could probablly post up wiring diagrams for both the 05 and 06 with wire coolers & connectors and such.

ok and to keep them separate this is the 2005 with it's 2 gang connector

BTW it looks like the 2006 5.7 connector might be the same as the 2005 4.7/3.7 connector

Take careful note of the 1 and 2 numbering in the connector diagram not what they are probing. haven't found the same test for both years.

I don't want 4.7 diagrams mixed in with this just yet but you could look at your connectors and see if you wiring colors match 06 or at least the right pins go to the pcm.
then snag an 06+ coil pack and see if really is the exact same plug. (off the magunum?)

I got 6.1 coils, and Michael said they plug right into the 4.7 harness...I'm just unsure that the wires are the same...
sounds like it would work then. i'd just double check that the pins 1 and 2 are wired and the right one goes to the pcm if colors don't match your year.

Ok I just looked at the 05 4.7 diagrams and they look basically the same the BR/WT always goes to pin 2
and the other wire (various l different colors) in pin 1 always goes back to the PCM
just like on a 5.7 .

this is from a 2003 dakota/ram....now why wont the other hemi connectors not fit?
