well i found out that the lx oil pan will fit in may dakota...but only if i dont want to run my front sway bar....well im keepin it


so i need a truck oil pan and oil tube pickup and dipstick if the lx one wont fit....cheaper the better.

I have the oil pan and maybe the pick up if i can find it. I wish you would have posted this thursday I just tossed a blown motor with everything on it but the heads.

i wish i had done that as well.....but had to deal with a loss in the family so didnt get to install the engine till today, just to pull it right back out because of the oil pan....plus i had to mod the t56 tranny input shaft since the 5.7 crank sits outward more than the 4.7 does. if the pan was a steel one like the trucks i would have just used my rubber hammer and made some room...lol
