Yup, I had a ghetto intake on my truck for a while. I opted to put a volant on for looks. From the homemade to the volant I probably lost at least 10-15hp, but it looks 100% better imo, and I can just spray to make up for what I lost.

On the other hand, I hope your intake works for you bee.

For the track it's perfect. I painted mine 05 black and ran it thru the fog light hole. After track I pull it and put my fog light back in.Looks great and is cheap track only mod. For every day use I would not want to look at it....

You have a nice cai, should see a gain in et. Go dual and just that much more pickup in et, mph, and even a gain in gas milage. I had mine at one time going to foglite hole, but, picked up too much rubber from racer in front of me after his burnout,so changed it.

When I make my new change, I will post it!:D

The thin wall stuff is called schedule 20 and it will say that on the side. Normal stuff is schedule 40. I saw the schedule 20 at home depot, I think it may be near the irrigation stuff.
