i would if i was you, those things are pretty thick maybe 3/4". as long as you dont tow anything heavy. and their pretty heavy so that good weight reduction haha

I have decided to remove them because I will sit closer to leave. Yeah I never tow anything. I have been workin on weight reduction a little. Last week I took of the both vibration dampeners off the frame and they weight 10 lbs each.
