So I was rotating my tires yesterday when I noticed that the clamp thing that holds the leafs together is not clamped down. You can stick your finger inbetween the top of the leaf and the bottom of the clamp thing. And also the springs arent all in a line anymore. They kinda look like a deck of carts of you hold it flat and move ur hands in opposite directions (if that makes any sense). I checked the other side and its not as bad but its startin to do it as well. should I just take a big pair of pliers or somethin and jack the back end up again and try to reclamp that thing down?

Soon as I get my camera charged Ill get a pic of what i mean. My ride has been gettin bouncy and im wondering if this is the cause of the problem

you talking about the u bolts and perch or just the little straighteners at the ends of the leaf pack.

Doesn't look out of the ordinary to me. My 4x4's leafs look about the same.

Ah ok. It just seems like they should be all lined up but if mines not the only one im not gonna worry till i lose one lol. I may try to see if i can get the dealer to replace them under warranty. My last truck had squeaky ones and they replaced them so since these are kinda crooked...

Damn I need to find another job so I dont have this much free time...

if you lift up the truck by the frame and loosen the u bolts and nut on the bolt that holds the leaf pack together, you could probably bang them straight with a big mallet.
