im in the process of getting mine painted i have spent 2 hours per wheel sanding

after and before work

got some degreaser and i hope to paint them this week

they dont make the general grabber 275/60 17 any more

so i am left with shitty falkens i think

Mine are the offroad wheel.

Badbee, use the Toyo Proxes. They come in 275/60 or 285/60, and they hook pretty good.

Be gentle. I sand blast aluminum wheels weekly. Your powdercoat guys should be able to do it for ya. They usually use a non-abrasive medium for all their pre-powdercoat work. 4 rims shouldn't take more than 20 minutes if their blaster knows what he's doin.

there aint a powdercoater for miles around me

i got them all sanded down and primer is on them waiting for the primer to dry them im going to sand it again with 2000

and then give it 3 coats of paint and clear coat it

Thanks dline for posting the photo. I got the wheels from him and painted them myself. Very very easy, just time consuming. I went with falken tires that I got $100 off on ebay with coupon and cashback and couldnt be happier.
