Has anybody ever broken a stock transfer case on a ram 1500?

If anyone was going to break one, that'd be me. Just for safety sake, I do have mine wrapped with a blanket.

Is it a blue one :D lol. Too bad rams dont come factory with a tranny as strong as our t-cases

If Jerry's or dlines hasn't gone out yet, then that speaks volumes about our transfer cases. I've even raced with a slightly different roll-out a dozen times in 4wd and so far I've been lucky (sorry Jerry, I know you told me not to, lol).

But at the same time, if you get bored with on road stuff you can take a trip out in the dirt and try to keep up with subarus

Thats true. If I lived out west I'd have a cage and a solid front axle so I dould go hauling ass across the desert

mine hasnt broken yet lol. I think all u have to worry about is the little arm that pushes the whole thing into gear. But i have no clue

I still run the stock t-case. It leaks a little at the rear seal but other than that it works great after years of abuse in the rocks and ruts.
